JUSTICE AND RECONCILIATION COMMISION DILEMMA -2
"Mr kiplagat has reasons not to resign, one because if those who has been implicated in scandals like maize, grand regency, Mau forest, triton just to name but few are calling the shots in government. Two, if the perpetrators of post election violence are serving in the same government, then Kiplagat has a reason to ask them resign first. Then we must accept the reality that the TJRC will fail after all and there is no question about it. If we start in 1963 it means that Kenyatta family must surrender their land and then ask for forgiveness which cannot happen. Remember TJRC is not a judicial mechanism which means everyone is expected to participate voluntarily.
Peace is not the absence of war it is the presence of justice. Those who grabbed land from 1963 must be forced to return it, those who have incited tribal war must face the existing law, corrupt must go to jail but we cannot beg them to do it. After all revolution will be the best pill to save Kenya.
